Please note: Class time is 1:30-3:30 PM to accommodate late release times from Gov. Winslow, Eames Way and Daniel Webster Schools. However, students are welcome to arrive at 1PM and enjoy snack and journaling time with the teacher from 1-1:30PM.
During the three 10-week sessions, students in grades 1-5 will enrich their artistic expressions in a fun and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing their unique talents to create works of art. Students will work with a wide variety of media including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and more. Art from the world’s varied cultures and the contributions of major artists will serve as inspiration.

About the Instructor: Arbrenne Valle
Arbrenne got her BA from UMass Amherst in Theatre and her MA in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. She spent 5 years teaching first grade at South Shore Charter. Now she spends her time chasing around her toddler and painting during his nap times.
North River Arts Society is thrilled to announce our Summer Art Camp, running for four exciting weeks in 2025 for children entering grades 1-4.
Throughout each week of the camp, young artists will embark on a journey of imagination as they explore captivating themes! This week the theme is "The Ocean Blue" the class will take a dive into the sea to explore the wonders that lie above and below. Guided by our dedicated instructors, campers will have the opportunity to experiment with an array of materials and techniques to bring their artistic visions to life.
To ensure a tailored experience, our class will be led by two experienced teachers who will engage campers in daily activities. Whenever possible, we'll organize the class into smaller groups, allowing for personalized attention and age-appropriate instruction.

This week the theme is "All About Animals" - Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! Let's explore the world of animals! Guided by our dedicated instructors, campers will have the opportunity to experiment with an array of materials and techniques to bring their artistic visions to life.
Throughout each week of the camp, young artists will embark on a journey of imagination as they explore captivating themes! This week the theme is "Famous Artists" - Discover the techniques of famous artists as we draw, paint, and sculpt our own masterpieces! Guided by our dedicated instructors, campers will have the opportunity to experiment with an array of materials and techniques to bring their artistic visions to life.
